Welcome to my website. My name is Irena Joveva. Some of you might know me from television from before, working as a journalist, while others are getting to know me now, ‘on the other side of the microphone and cameras’. I have been a member of the European Parliament (and thus in politics) since 2019. I sit in the Committee on Culture and Education, the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs, the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety and the Special Committee on the COVID-19 pandemic. On this website you will find collected news about me and my work. I will share my thoughts and comments with you about what I do in the European Parliament, in Slovenia and especially on the ground. Together with my team I am open for your initiatives, suggestions and questions. I am your voice in the European Union.
